Since the day we moved in, Todd has wanted to paint the front porch. Our neighborhood is predominantly Victorian era homes with a mix of mid-century developer homes designed to look similar. The all white paint just wasn't cutting it on our turn-of-the century home. In an effort to gain more curb appeal, we used the good weather of Memorial Day weekend to crank out some serious paint work. It may look like a minimal amount of paint, but it took three full days of up and down on the ladders (thanks to the Linz & Ed Tool Co-op for the ladder). These photos are already out of date! Since then, we have painted the concrete block and reworked the landscape in front. The sideyard was completed a few weeks ago and we'll send some photos of that soon. We've moved on to the backyard--tore off the old steps and gutter last night in preparation of painting the back addition. We're excited to get the yard done in time to enjoy it! Anyone is welcome to stop by anytime...we'll probably be in the yard ;)
