Saturn V RocketTwo weekends ago we took a trip down to Orlando to visit the Stengers.
They were great hosts.......they had all kinds of events lined up for us.
Friday we hit the Improv for some fun.
Saturday Kris and Todd saw the new Transformers movie - AWESOME - worth the wait. Sara and Holly went shopping. The shopping theme continued as everyone drove up to Daytona Beach and the boys went to the Nascar race , the Pepsi 400, at Daytona International Speedway. The race began at 8:00.....needless to say we all made it back to Orlando late that night. It was a great race and well worth it.
Sunday we spent the day at the Kennedy Space Center - also very cool. A full day of history and amazing artifacts.

The video below is of the first lap of the Pepsi 400. If you have sound you should crank it up to get the feeling of them going past. Notice the peoples hair around us after the cars past.
