All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....

We have not posted anything in some time now.....we are sorry. Look! We finally have Christmas up!


A lot has been going on but we promise to get back into it.


Our Oren update:
Well, not quite in time for Christmas, but Oren did cut his first tooth on New Years Eve. His second followed shortly after on the 8th. It is amazing to watch him grow! We do think he's working on his upper two teeth already - he'll look so different. No, he's not sleeping through the night, but we're working on it. He has occassionally, but we don't expect it. He's really started to notice the kitty cat. He smiles at her and would love to touch her, which right now would mean grabbing her tail or fur, so he'll have to look with his eyes and not his hands! Oren also loves his visits from Grandma and Nana on Mondays.

Todd update:
Todd has been battling several colds and illnesses this winter, partially thanks to Oren bringing home germs from daycare, otherwise just not good luck. Plus, he's been burning the midnight oil between work, renovating an apartment, volunteer work, and of course being a new dad. Todd continues his volunteer work as one of two Architects on the 7 member Italian Village Historic Commission. Todd's most recent project is near complete, a new post for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Stay tuned for photos of the completed building.

Sara update:
Busy working on the addition and renovation to Purdue University's Student Recreation Center. It is a huge project, both square feet and budget. She travels to West Lafayette a couple times a month. Another one of her projects is set to go out to bid any minute, a new building at Lincoln University outside of Philly. She continues to work 4-10 hour days in order to be home with Oren on Friday's. It is worth it! The weekends still go by way too fast. Sara is anxiously awaiting the spring so she can get back to her seasonal running. Both she and Todd play tennis once a week.

The Rayner update:
Looking forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary of her adoption this year. She used to be such a scaredy cat, but she's now completely at home with grandparents, even sitting on their laps. Of course, she's got them all wrapped around her little paw and they all know where we keep the treats!
