Grandma and Grandpa Boyer returned last week from a short vacation in sunny Arizona where they enjoyed spring training baseball. It was the first year of the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians sharing a facility in Goodyear-A dream for Ohio baseball fans.
We visited with them last weekend and Oren received his early Easter basket filled with goodies from their trip. Books, a fun Elmo basket, and some baseball hats were his favorites. His first Reds hat (they will be his ohio team) and first Sun Devil hat (that may be more for mom and dad) fit perfectly. He loved them and looked great!
He suddenly went from nine months to 9 years old right before our eyes.
