Update

This post is a little odd, because we wrote it in the late summer but never posted, so things may appear a little out of sequence. The next couple of posts will contain some interior and exterior renovations that we completed right before Rosemary arrived. Stay tuned.

Most of you are used to us posting house renovations or some kind of project. As you have noticed not much of that has been happening lately-we have been busy and we have almost forgotten about the house. We were making great progress and then everything just seemed to stop.

That all changed a couple of weeks ago when the garbage disposal stopped working. Of course this course of events began just weeks after our one year home warranty period expired....

So the disposal stops working and then the dishwasher won't drain. So we replace the garbage disposal-doesn't fix the dishwasher. So we call and get that fixed. Finally the night before we head on vacation to Oak Island the air conditioner goes out......really?....... So it is 95 and we have to open all the windows for relief. Luckily when we renovated Oren's room we added a ceiling fan-but he was the only one.

We have completed a few other projects since the summer vacation to Oak Island. The next couple of posts will get you up to date with the house.
