Showers for Baby Boyer

The first weekend in May was an absolutely perfect weekend! Our goal was to have the nursery substantially complete by this weekend so friends and family could see where Baby Boyer will be welcomed home. Saturday morning we picked up the last piece of furniture, the rocker, and Todd installed it just minutes before meeting up for lunch. More pictures of that below!

Saturday was the Columbus shower day. Sara's entire family was in town for festivities before the shower hosted by Aunt Lindsey Boyer-Pauline and good friend Kate Meyer. Those girls certainly know how to throw a party! We played games like "Sara and Todd Trivia" - do you know what Todd's middle name is? We ate yummy desserts, chatted, and Baby Boyer was showered with gifts!

Sunday was the Dayton shower day. Aunt Margaret is the hostess with the mostest! Friends and family gathered in honor of Baby Boyer - it was such a special day!

Where was dad-to-be during all of this? He did have some time to hang out on Saturday with best man Tim Roberts at an OSU baseball game (wife Micah and daughter Audrina were with the girls). Otherwise he was preparing for a big presentation Sunday morning for one of his church clients. There were over 300 people at the church service. Todd spoke for 45 minutes explaining the proposed addition to the existing church. The motion to pass the funding passed almost unanimously!
