2201 Glenmere

Our new home....

On June 18 we close on our new home at 2201 Glenmere Road in Upper Arlington.
As quoted by the realtors...."the finest mid century modern in Columbus"...we think so. It was built in 1955. We have tried to do a little research of who the architect was. The previous owner (an architect at nbbj and an acuantance of us) said he was told that it was designed by a Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice, but no name has come forth. Upper Arlington has a sprikling of mid centur modern homes designed by numerous architects of that generation. There are also many homes throughout Columbus that were design by a group of FLW apprentices-so who knows.
We will keep looking proof.
