During the last week in May we took our first family vacation to Sanibel Island, Florida. We were invited to join Sara's parents on vacation. We spent the entire week soaking up the sun and enjoying Oren's love of the pool.
It was Oren's first vacation, plane ride, ocean experience, pool experience, and first time meeting the Stengers. He did great, as you will see.
He slept for half of the flight-both down to Florida and on the way home-which was nice. The rest of the time he would charm the passengers behind us with games of pee-a-boo.
He was in love with the pool-could not get enough, we were not that suprised since he goes nuts during bath time. Now the ocean took a little warming up to-but not a problem, once he got a hold of sand he was content.
Kris, Holly, and Karmen came down to visit from Orlando. It was their first time meeting Oren and the first time we have seen Karmen since she was about 3 months old. The kids played together while we enjoyed some time to catch up and listen to stories of the new home they are building. Thanks for making the trip Stengers! It was SO great to see you! We miss you!
Nana and Popi Mahrer were gracious hosts the entire week and enjoyed sharing their vacation spot with Oren.
