Oak Island Vacation

That time of year again - summer vacation! We tried a new place this year - Oak Island N.C. Jenn, Aunt Lindsey's roommate from college lives there so it was pretty easy figuring out accommodations and getting recommendations.

We had a great time. Oren was able to make it back to his beloved beach and little Eddie got his first taste of the fun awaiting him as he gets older. The boys had a blast and we all enjoyed watching them.

Besides beach and pool time we had a few excursions of note: We made a trip up to Wilmington N.C. to see the Battleship N.C. We visited the North Carolina Aquarium, and were treated to a behind the scenes tour by Jenn (who practically runs the Aquarium). Wait until you see what Oren got to touch! Yikes!

We had a lot of fun. Still today, Oren can't stop talking about the Aquarium and the fun with Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Eddie, Eddie, Grandma, and Grandpa. He is ready to go back and visit Jenn, Mike, Toby, and Pumpkin! It could be a long winter.
