ROSEMARY REED BOYER
She was born on November 6, 2011 at 1:32a.m. (exactly three weeks early, and just shy of "preemie" status)
She weighed 6lbs. 1oz. and was 19 inches long
Mom and baby are doing great and we all excited she has arrived.
Her name follows our traditional family approach that we started with Oren.
We tried to incorporate every part of the family tree (taking one name from each side of the family). Rosemary is named after a Rose and two Mary's. Rose was Sara's great grandmother (Rose Mahrer) on her father's side. Mary was Todd's grandmother (Mary Hill) on his mother's side and Sara's grandmother (Mary Leake) on her mother's side. Reed is the street name of the Boyer family farm (3185 Reed Road). Since some day she will probably lose the Boyer name when she marries, we wanted a name that would represent the heritage of the Boyer side.
We will of course send additional photos.
