Our little Rosie Bear crossed the 9 month threshold last week. It was an interesting week for her and this week will be even more interesting.
She is full of energy, laughing, clapping, clicking her tough....but she has not been feeling very good or sleeping. She has never been much of a sleeper but it has been really bad lately. During her appointment she tipped the scales at 20lbs. 2oz. (80%) and reached 29in. (92%). Then came the medical issues. She was given an antibiotic for thrush in her mouth, given a probiotic for diarrhea, vitamin C to increase her immunization, medical for flushing out her ears, special spray for her nose, and referrals to an allegist and an ENT. She got the works package.
So at the end of the week she had blood drawn to test for allergies (it came back negative - no allergies). She visited the ENT - she needs tubes. So Wednesday of this week we take Rosie Bear for her first surgery - getting tubes in her little ears. Hopefully it will releave her pain and let her (and us) sleep.
Mom did have to cut her hair for the first time as well! I think mom hated to do it but there was no choice - it is soooo long. Oh-bye the way, he new hair is coming in BLOND-another blond, oh boy.
We will keep you updated on how she does with her tubes on Wednesday.
