Sara and I went to our first Opening Day baseball game ever - and it was a day to remember!
Tim and Micah Roberts invited us to Cleveland for a fun day of baseball. Mother nature had other ideas....
The game was delayed an hour due to the weather and lack of visibility, so we passed the time at a bar. When game time came around, it was 29 degrees and the snow continued to fall. The Indians and Mariners played one inning before the first snow delay. After the 20 minute delay, the Indians threw one pitch and ran off the field again.....this time for an hour. We left the game during the second inning and headed for dinner. Despite the inclement weather, we made the most of it and had a great time with Tim and Micah! We had fun freezing our butts off!
We later found out that the game was finally called one out before it was an official game.
